Volleyball Falls to #25 in Latest AVCA National Poll
Lexington, Ky.– After a split on the week, the University of Findlay volleyball team fell to no. 25 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)/Taraflex national poll, released Monday, Oct. 6.
The Oilers, ranked 25th, join #16 Ferris State and #18 Grand Valley State, as the lone teams ranked in Midwest Region. Findlay is the only team in the conference ranked in the poll.
Findlay is on the road on Friday, Oct. 10 as they head to Hillsdale College to take on the Chargers.

The win moves the Oilers to 6-2-3 overall and 5-1-1 in G-MAC play, extending their four-game win streak while handing the Timberwolves their first loss of the season. Northwood now sits at 5-1-3 overall and 2-1-3 in conference.
- Oilers Finish Seventh at Tom Tontimonia InvitationalWestlake, Ohio - The University of Findlay men's golf team finished up play at the Tom Tontimonia Invitational hosted by Cleveland State on Tuesday, Oct. 7. Being the only non-division one program in the field of 10 teams, the Oilers would finish in seventh place. They would end the final round with a team score of 293 (+), giving them a total score of 23 over.

- Oilers Finish Day One in Fourth | Roth Tied for LeadWestlake, Ohio - The University of Findlay men's golf team was back in action on Monday, Oct. 6 for the first day of play at the Tom Tontimonia Invitational hosted by Cleveland State. The field is filled by nine division one programs and the Oilers, the lone division two team. Findlay fired a 292 (+8) in round one followed by a 290 (+6) in round two, finding themselves in fourth place after one day of play.
