Bare Hearts: Findlay Faithfuls Quentin ’21 and Jillian (Prince ’21) Peffley
Josh Eilola Posted On February 13, 2024
Quentin Peffley and Jillian Prince’s story began at the University of Findlay, where they met through their friend Daulton Buenter during their freshman year in Bare residence hall. Quentin was studying exercise science, while Jillian pursued education.
Despite living in the same dorm and having mutual friends, it wasn’t until their senior year that Quentin and Jillian’s friendship blossomed into something more. They reconnected while working together in the Admissions office, bonding over shared experiences and aspirations. Their time at UF was filled with cherished memories, from attending athletic events to hanging out with friends. Quentin fondly remembers supporting Jillian as she cheered for the Oilers during spring football games, while Jillian enjoyed playing sand volleyball with Quentin and their friends.
Their love for each other was celebrated in June 2023 by their tight-knit circle of friends, many of whom were University of Findlay alumni themselves. The camaraderie and support they found in each other and their community filled their hearts with gratitude and joy. They now live in Indianapolis, Indiana, with their cat Pistachio and their corgi Baxter. Both Quentin and Jillian are focused on their careers, with Quentin working as an Order Operations Specialist for Rupa Health and Jillian working as the Associate Director of Student Involvement and Greek Life at Franklin College.
Their love story is a testament to the close-knit community at UF and the unexpected paths that lead to lasting relationships. As they navigate life’s adventures together, Quentin and Jillian remain grateful for the foundation they built at their alma mater.
