Established in 2024, the Oiler Choice Awards are designed to recognize the outstanding achievements of student-athletes in front of their peers.
Oilers Stay Hot at Home Sweeping Clarion in Straight SetsFindlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay volleyball team delivered a commanding performance on Sunday October 26, sweeping Clarion University 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-18) in Croy Gymnasium. With the win, the Oilers improve to 17-3 overall and 8-1 in G-MAC play, while Clarion drops to 10-12 and 4-4 in PSAC competition.
- Oilers Post Big Marks at SVSUUniversity Center, Mich. - The University of Findlay swim and dive teams capped off a record-setting weekend at the Gerstacker Regional Aquatic Center, competing against Saginaw Valley State and Northern Michigan. Over two days of competition, the Oilers broke multiple school records and earned a combined 17 NCAA Division II qualifying standards, including one automatic bid to the national championships.

- Cross Country Kicks Off Postseason at G-MAC Championship in Midland, Mich.Midland, Mich. – The University of Findlay men's and women's cross country teams got their postseason started on Saturday, Oct. 25 with the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship, held this year at the Fisher Family Trails in Midland, Michigan, hosted by Northwood University. Findlay's women finished third in the race while the men took fourth.

- Findlay Defeats Thomas More 1-0 in Hard-Fought G-MAC ClashCrestview Hills, Ky. – The University of Findlay men's soccer team earned a gritty 1-0 road victory over Thomas More on Saturday October 25, at Republic Bank Field. With the win, the Oilers improve to 7-5-2 overall and 6-3-2 in G-MAC play, while the Saints fall to 8-5-2 (6-3-2 G-MAC).

- Oilers Dominate Lake Erie in Straight SetsFindlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay volleyball team continued its impressive run in conference play with a decisive 3-0 sweep over Lake Erie on Saturday October 25, inside Croy Gymnasium. The Oilers rolled to set victories of 25-7, 25-17, and 25-10, improving to 16-3 overall and 8-1 in the G-MAC, while the Storm fell to 9-14 (2-8 G-MAC).

- #14 Oilers Battle Back to 27-20 Win vs. Upset-Minded PanthersFindlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay football team, ranked no. 14 in the country, faced arguably its toughest test since the first week of the season on Saturday, Oct. 25, taking on the Ohio Dominican Panthers in Donnell Stadium. The Oilers faced some adversity early but battled back to earn a 27-20 victory over their long-time rival, improving to 8-0 overall and 6-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) in the process. With the loss the Panthers fall to 3-4 on the year with a 2-4 mark in the league.

- Oilers Overpower Arrows in Straight-Set VictoryFindlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay volleyball team was back at home for the first time in nearly a month on Friday, Oct. 24, welcoming the Ursuline College Arrows to Croy Gynmasium. The Oilers delivered with a win in straight sets (25-16, 25-20, 25-19) an improved to 15-3 on the year with a 7-1 record in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play. Ursuline's struggles continue, dropping to 0-20 (0-9 G-MAC).

- Men's Soccer Falls on the Road | Lose to KWCOwensboro, Ky.- The University of Findlay men's soccer team fell 2-0 at the hands of Kentucky Wesleyan College on Thursday, Oct. 23 on Panther Field. With the loss, the Oilers fall to 6-5-2 on the year with a 5-3-2 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). Meanwhile, the Panthers improve to 6-2-6 and 6-2-2 in league play.
