Oiler Choice Awards Set for Tuesday, April 16
Findlay, Ohio - The 2024 Oiler Choice Awards, presented by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, will take place Tuesday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Niekamp Arena. The event will celebrate the hard work, dedication, and excellence of our athletes both on and off the field, honoring athletes from all 22 varsity sports.
The awards to be presented at the 2024 Oiler Choice Awards include:

- #25 Oilers Sweep NorthwoodMidland, Mich.- The 25th-ranked University of Findlay volleyball team defeated Northwood University by a score of 3-0 (28-26, 25-13, 25-18) on Saturday, Oct. 11 to improve to 12-2 on the season with a 6-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).
- #19 Findlay Grinds Out 16-14 Win on Homecoming | 6-0 for First Time Since 1997Findlay, Ohio – It was far from a comfortable outcome, but winning is the goal and on Saturday, Oct. 11, that is exactly what the University of Findlay football team, ranked no. 19 in the country, accomplished. The Oilers, playing host to the always tough Hillsdale College Chargers, came away with a 16-14 victory in a defensive battle to improve to 6-0 (4-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC)) for the first time since 1997, the year of UF's last NAIA National Championship. Hillsdale, with the loss, falls to 2-4 overall with a 1-3 mark in G-MAC play. This marks the fourth consecutive win for the Oilers over the Chargers and the tenth win in their last 12 matchups.
