Furlong Earns G-MAC Athlete of the Week

Indianapolis, Ind. - Junior Denny Furlong was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released on Monday, Oct. 6. The honor comes after leading the Oilers to a 31-10 win over the unbeaten Walsh Cavaliers.
The Evergreen Park, Ill. native powered the Oilers' offense with eight receptions for 156 yards and three touchdowns. He is the first receiver at UF to have 150+ receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns in a game since 1999.
