University of Findlay will host its annual Constitution Day event, featuring the renowned legal scholar Lee J. Strang, Professor of Law at the University of Toledo. The event will take place on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 6 p.m. in the Winebrenner Auditorium on the University of Findlay campus. Constitution Day is open to the public, and we encourage students, faculty, staff, and community members to join us for this enlightening event. It provides an excellent opportunity to gain insights into the legal principles that underpin our democracy and to engage in a meaningful dialogue about their application in today’s society.
Constitution Day at University of Findlay is where students, faculty/staff, and community members gather to reflect on the principles that our nation was founded upon and engage in thoughtful discussions about their relevance today. This year, we are honored to welcome Professor Lee J. Strang, a leading authority on constitutional law, who will deliver a compelling presentation titled, “Originalism on the Roberts Court in the Coming Years.” Professor Strang’s expertise in constitutional law and his engaging speaking style make him a sought-after speaker on the national stage. His research and scholarship have earned him recognition and respect among legal scholars and practitioners alike.
