Two Alumni Receive Awards from the Ohio Association of Teacher Educators

University of Findlay is proud to announce that two of its esteemed alumni, Macie Wenner and Jessica Meyer, have been recognized for their exceptional contributions to the field of education by the Ohio Association of Teacher Educators (OATE).
Wenner has been awarded the prestigious Outstanding Cooperating Teacher Award by the Ohio Association of Teacher Educators. “This award is a testament to her remarkable talents and the positive impact you have and will continue to have on your students and pre-service teachers,” said Lindsay Vance, OATE Award Chair.
Meyer has been honored with the Outstanding Student Teacher Award by the Ohio Association of Teacher Educators. This accolade acknowledges her achievements and her commitment to excellence in education. “Her commitment to excellence has set her apart, and we believe she is truly deserving of this recognition,” said Vance.
They both will be celebrated and presented with their awards during a luncheon at the Fall 2023 OCTEO Conference at the OCLC in Dublin, Ohio on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
