University of Findlay Dean to Speak at UKLO Annual International Scientific Conference 2024

Ron Tulley, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at the University of Findlay, has been invited to serve as the Plenary Speaker at the UKLO Annual International Scientific Conference 2024. This year’s conference will be held from Bitola, Republic of North Macedonia, on November 15-16, 2024.
The theme for this year’s conference is “A Multidisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Development Goals.” Dean Tulley will present his speech titled, “Notes from the Edge: Sustainability and Relevance in Higher Education in the U.S. on the Precipice of the Demographic Cliff.” In his presentation, Tulley will explore the challenges and opportunities facing higher education institutions as they navigate the complexities of sustainability and demographic shifts. His insights aim to foster dialogue on how universities can remain relevant and impactful in a rapidly changing educational landscape.
“I am honored to be part of such a significant event,” said Dean Tulley. “Sustainability is a critical concern for all sectors, and it is essential for higher education to adapt and innovate in order to contribute effectively to the Sustainable Development Goals.”
The UKLO Annual International Scientific Conference brings together scholars, researchers, and practitioners from various fields to discuss pressing global issues and share insights on sustainable practices.
