Welcome

We can't wait to meet you!

Our four-day orientation weekend is designed to help you settle into campus life, meet other new students and have a lot of fun! All first-time, undergraduate students to the University of Findlay (First-Time Freshman, Transfers, Non-Traditional, Commuter, etc.) are required to attend New Student Orientation Weekend.

Use this app to make sure you have all the resources you need, including what to bring (and not bring!), orientation schedules, campus map and directions, how to get involved in campus life, and many more!

You are welcome to share this app with your parents and family and bring them for the first two days of Orientation Weekend

What to pack

If you are living in the residence halls, below is a handy list of things you should and should not bring with you to make your dorm room feel like home. Remember, space is limited in your room, everything you want to bring may not fit. You’re probably going to spend the few weeks leading up to your departure trying to decide what to take to Findlay with you. Just remember, university life isn’t too much different to normal life back at home, except that at Findlay you won’t have a parent around to do your laundry.
