University of Findlay Annual Spring Horse Sale to be Held April 29

The University of Findlay will present the 18th annual Spring Horse Sale on Saturday, April 29th, at the Western Farm’s Dale Wilkinson Arena, 14700 Ohio 68, south of Findlay.
This sale will be held in person, with no COVID-19 restrictions, as well as virtually. UF will not be taking phone bids, however, online/virtual bids will be accepted. Demonstrations are set to begin at 10 a.m. and the sale will start at noon.
This annual sale is arranged by Findlay’s Equine Marketing class and will feature approximately 30 horses. Disciplines of the sale horses include, but are not limited to: western pleasure, all-around, reining, hunter under saddle, trail, ranch riding, as well as a quiet lesson or 4-H horses. Some of the horses that will be offered in the 18th annual sale are sired by distinguished horses such, Too Sleepy to Zip, Gunnatrashya, HF Mobster, How Bout This Cowboy, and Mr Zippos Good Bar.
Throughout the fall and spring semesters, Findlay equestrian students spend numerous hours caring for and training horses included in the sale. Proceeds from the sale are put towards scholarships and the purchase of new horses for students to work with the following academic year.
