“Fridays at Findlay” to Place Focus on the Food Industry

University of Findlay invites campus and community members to the “Fridays at Findlay” lecture series Friday, April 19. Following a 7:30 breakfast, guest speaker, Brian Nash MS ’96 of Ingredion, Inc. will take center stage from 8-9 a.m. in University of Findlay’s Winebrenner TLB Auditorium. Nash will share his expertise and predictions regarding the food industry.
As a Fortune 500 company, Ingredion makes sweeteners, starches, nutrition ingredients, and biomaterials used in products by customers in more than 120 countries and representing 60 sectors, including food, beverages, paper and corrugating, brewing, and more. As vice president of corporate sustainability at Ingredion, Nash is responsible for establishing a sustainability strategy and chairs the global sustainability council.
Join Fridays at Findlay to learn how food safety, carbon reductions, and sustainability are impacting the future of food and creating different forms of business value.
Registration for the event is open now but will close Thursday, April 18. The event is $12 for adults and $6 for students. A breakfast buffet will be included with registration and will feature eggs, home fries, bacon, danishes, and drinks.
