Eloisa Silva, a Weekend Doctor of Physical Therapy Program student at the University of Findlay, has been honored with the prestigious National Powerback Rehab Clinical Excellence award. The award recognizes Eloisa’s outstanding clinical care, engagement with patients, positive outcomes, and innovative approaches in her therapy practice.
Silva was one of three nominees chosen for the award, standing out among her peers for her exceptional contributions to the field of physical therapy. Her creative and fun clinical approach has proven to be highly effective in engaging residents and improving their overall well-being.
As a student, Silva actively pursues new learning opportunities to continuously improve her clinical skills. Her commitment to personal and professional growth is admirable, and she actively supports the growth of fellow clinicians as well. When asked about winning the award, Silva expressed her gratitude, stating, “This award means a lot to me. It reminds me of how much I love being a physical therapist and how the enjoyment I find in my work reflects in the outcomes achieved.”
Silva’s supervisor, Adriana Winters, the Director of Rehab (DOR), commended her exceptional skills and dedication to patient care. “Eloisa is an amazing therapist, and we are incredibly proud of her accomplishments,” said Winters.
