It never fails, everyday we are battered with an onslaught of news, stories, videos- content of every kind. And often, it’s not great news.
The Pulse wants to not only report the important stories that affect your daily lives, it wants to report on the things that make you smile. So the Pulse is adding a franchise that will hopefully be an uplifting addition to the news cycle. “Find the Kind” will feature stories from the UF Campus Community that show kindness, compassion, and empathy.
In today’s edition of the Pulse:
- Morgan Sparks explains the benefits of kindness
- Dr. Darcy Metcalfe talks about Compassion, Benevolence, and Beneficence in Thoughts with Profs
If you know of a special someone on campus that goes out of their way to brighten someone’s day, please let us know. We are looking for all kinds of stories; whether it’s someone who always smiles and says ‘hi’ to everyone they see, a staff member that goes out of their way to help the students feel at home, or an event or act that shows kindness is alive and well in Findlay, Ohio. Help us Find the Kind.
*Share your story of kindness by contacting us at rogan@findlay.edu with “Find the Kind” in the subject line.
