Women's Soccer Under Consideration in First Regional Ranking
Indianapolis, Ind. – On Wednesday, October 29, the NCAA released its' first round of regional rankings for each of the eight regions in women's soccer. The University of Findlay makes an appearance in the poll which, for the first round of voting, is listed alphabetically as teams that are "under consideration".
The Oilers are 9-3-3 this season and have three regular-season games remaining including one against Ashland University which also appears in the poll. Cedarville and Northwood round out the four teams from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) that appear in the debut of the regional rankings.
This is the first of four regional rankings that will conclude with the NCAA DII Playoff bracket being announced on Monday, Nov. 17.

- Findlay Wins at Lake Erie 3-2Painesville, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's soccer team earned a 3-2 victory over Lake Erie College on Saturday, Nov. 1. Having already clinched a spot in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship earlier in the week, Findlay held on for their ninth win of the season at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium. With the win, Findlay improves to 9-5-2 on the season and 8-3-2 in the league. Meanwhile, Lake Erie falls to 4-5-8 on the year and 4-5-4 in the G-MAC.

The win elevates the Oilers to 10-3-4 overall and 9-2-2 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play, while the Arrows fall to 4-11-1 overall and 2-10-1 in conference competition.
