- Oiler Choice Awards Set for Tuesday, April 16Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay is thrilled to announce the launch of the inaugural Oiler Choice Awards, designed to celebrate the athletic year by recognizing seniors, as well as presenting multiple individual and team awards. Established in 2024, the Oiler Choice Awards are designed to recognize the outstanding achievements of student-athletes in front of their peers.
- Findlay to Host Toledo in Exhibition ContestFindlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's basketball team will host the University of Toledo Rockets on Sunday, Oct. 19 for their annual Charity Exhibition game. The game, which will be a fundraising event for Findlay's Hope House, is scheduled to start at 3pm.
- Men's Soccer Wins 2-1 at MaloneCanton, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's soccer team picked up a 2-1 win Tuesday, Oct. 14 in a night contest against Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) opponent, Malone University. With their second consecutive win, the Oilers improve to 6-4-1 overall with a 5-2-1 mark in the conference. Meanwhile, the Pioneers fall to 1-9-2 on the year and 1-6-2 in the league.
- Men's Golf Defends Home Turf, Winning in Playoff at the Doc Spragg Fall InviteFindlay, Ohio – On Tuesday, Oct. 14, the University of Findlay men's golf team delivered a clutch performance at the 2025 Doc Spragg Fall Invite, held at Findlay Country Club. On a perfect fall day with temperatures in the mid-70s, the Oilers claimed the team title after two playoff holes decided the winner. This is the first time that Findlay has won the Doc Spragg, an event that debuted in the fall of 2018.
- Ouellet Earns G-MAC Athlete of the WeekIndianapolis, Ind.- Senior Audrey Ouellet was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Tuesday, Oct. 14. The honor comes following her performance at the ITA Midwest Regional.
- Duflo Tabbed G-MAC Athlete of the WeekIndianapolis, Ind.- Junior Ashleigh Duflo was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Duflo led the top-ranked Oilers to a win at the William Beall Fall Classic. The squad blew away the field, winning by fourteen shots over seventh-ranked Grand Valley State and 36shots ahead of #23 Missouri- St. Louis.
- Belcher Named G-MAC Athlete of the WeekIndianapolis, Ind.- Senior Makenna Belcher was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Belcher led the Oilers to a perfect 2-0 weekend, sweeping both Hillsdale and Northwood.
- Men's Golf Leads Doc Spragg Fall Invite Thru Day OneFindlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's golf team played host to the first day of the Doc Spragg Fall Invite at Findlay Country Club on Monday, Oct. 13. With the temperatures hovering around 70 degrees with slight wind- the Oilers averaged 71.4 on the day, nearly three shots better than the field average of 74.21. The two-day, 54-hole event features a strong Midwest regional field, including #22 Missouri- St. Louis.
- Football Tied for 16th in Latest AFCA National PollWaco, Texs- Despite a hard-fought win on Saturday, the University of Findlay football team climbed to no. 16 in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches Poll — the highest ranking in program history. The previous best was no. 18, achieved in 2009.
- Cross Country Competes at Lewis CrossoverRomeoville, Ill. - The University of Findlay cross country teams participated in the Lewis Crossover on Saturday, Oct. 11. The women's team finished in 18th, while the men finished in 19th place.
