Findlay Defeats Thomas More 1-0 in Hard-Fought G-MAC Clash
Crestview Hills, Ky. – The University of Findlay men's soccer team earned a gritty 1-0 road victory over Thomas More on Saturday October 25, at Republic Bank Field. With the win, the Oilers improve to 7-5-2 overall and 6-3-2 in G-MAC play, while the Saints fall to 8-5-2 (6-3-2 G-MAC).
Findlay broke through in the 42nd minute when junior Emerson Layman netted his first goal of the season off a pinpoint assist from senior Ryan Dickinson, giving the Oilers a lead they would protect the rest of the match.

In goal, senior Keegan Grant was outstanding, recording seven saves en route to his fourth shutout of the season.
The Oilers weathered heavy second-half pressure from Thomas More, who fired 14 shots after halftime but couldn't find the back of the net.
