#1 Women's Golf Finishes Fall Season with a T-3 Finish
Farmington, Pa. - The no. 1 University of Findlay women's golf team concluded its' record breaking fall portion of the calendar on Tuesday, Oct. 21, wrapping up play at the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin hosted by Findlay. After play was shortened due to darkness on the first day, teams finished with 24 holes on Tuesday. The Oilers finished in a tie for third in the tournament with second and third round scores of 304 (+16) and 304 (+16), respectively, finishing with a three-round score of 928 (+64).
Grand Valley State, ranked No. 3 in the country in the latest Clippd national poll, took the tournament title with a 915 (+51).
Junior Ashleigh Duflo was the top finisher for the Oilers, carding a third round score of 76 (+4). Duflo placed fourth overall in the event at +14, behind an individual from North Georgia and two players from the University of Indianapolis.
Not far behind were sophomore Avery Thompson, senior Hayley Dye, and senior Ellie Yeazell all three tying for 9th at +17. Thompson, Dye, and Yeazell saved their best round for round three each carding 77 (+5), 76 (+4), and 75 (+3) respectively.

- Women's Basketball Picked Fourth in G-MAC Preseason Coaches PollIndianapolis, Ind. - The University of Findlay women's basketball team has been selected fourth in the 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Preseason Coaches Poll which was released by the league on Thursday, October 23. Findlay received 120 points in the poll. The Oilers went 20-10 last season with an 13-7 record in conference play.

She was selected as a finalist from a record-breaking list of 631 nominees, a group that was narrowed to 167 nominees at the conference level.
