Established in 2024, the Oiler Choice Awards are designed to recognize the outstanding achievements of student-athletes in front of their peers.
- Oilers in Fourth After Day One of Midwest CollegiatePeru, Ind. - The University of Findlay men's golf team was back in action on Monday, Sep. 29 for the first day of play in the Fall Midwest Collegiate. After 36 holes of action on day one, the Oilers find themselves in fourth place. A 297 (+9) in round one and a 296 (+8) in round two led to a 17 over finish.
- Oilers Take Second at Gildas Club Laker Fall Invite, Duflo Claims Medalist HonorsAllendale, Mich. – The University of Findlay women's golf team competed in the one-day, 36-hole 17th Annual Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invitational on Monday, September 29 at The Meadows at Grand Valley State University. The field featured some of the region's top teams, including the recently nationally ranked No. 1 Oilers and No. 7 Grand Valley State.

- Hannah Miller Named Conference Athlete of the WeekIndianapolis, Ind. - Junior Hannah Miller was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Monday, Sep. 29. Miller led the Oilers to a perfect 3-0 week with wins against Heidelberg, Ohio Dominican, and Ashland.
- Ashleigh Duflo Earns G-MAC Athlete of the WeekIndianapolis, Ind. - Junior Ashleigh Duflo was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Monday, Sep. 29. Duflo led the Oilers to wins at the Folds of Honor Challenge and the Wayne State Warrior Invite.
- Oilers Move Up to #21 in National PollWaco, Texas- After a 30-point victory against Thomas More on Saturday, the University of Findlay has moved up in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches Poll to no. 21 in the country.
- Men's Tennis Wraps up ITA RegionalAllendale, Mich. – The University of Findlay men's tennis team was in Michigan for the annual Midwest ITA Regionals on Saturday and Sunday, Sep. 27-28.
- Oilers with Strong Showing at BGSU Hidden DualsBowling Green, Ohio - The University of Findlay women's tennis team was back in action on Friday, Sep. 26 and Saturday, Sep. 27 at the Bowling Green State University Hidden Duals. Participating in this event along with the Oilers and BGSU was Butler and Wayne State. This round robin two-day event contained both singles and doubles matches between the four teams present.
- #25 Oilers Light Up Thomas More in 37-7 WinFindlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay football team took on the Thomas More University Saints on Saturday, Sep. 27 in Donnell Stadium, playing the first night game at UF in four years. Ranked no. 25 in the country, the Oilers dominated from the jump, going on to win the game 37-7. With that victory, Findlay improves to a perfect 4-0 (2-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC)) for the second consecutive season and third time since joining the NCAA. Thomas More falls to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the league.
