Oiler Choice Awards Set for Tuesday, April 16
Findlay, Ohio - The 2024 Oiler Choice Awards, presented by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, will take place Tuesday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Niekamp Arena. The event will celebrate the hard work, dedication, and excellence of our athletes both on and off the field, honoring athletes from all 22 varsity sports.
The awards to be presented at the 2024 Oiler Choice Awards include:

- Findlay Defeats Thomas More 1-0 in Hard-Fought G-MAC ClashCrestview Hills, Ky. – The University of Findlay men's soccer team earned a gritty 1-0 road victory over Thomas More on Saturday October 25, at Republic Bank Field. With the win, the Oilers improve to 7-5-2 overall and 6-3-2 in G-MAC play, while the Saints fall to 8-5-2 (6-3-2 G-MAC).
- Oilers Dominate Lake Erie in Straight SetsFindlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay volleyball team continued its impressive run in conference play with a decisive 3-0 sweep over Lake Erie on Saturday October 25, inside Croy Gymnasium. The Oilers rolled to set victories of 25-7, 25-17, and 25-10, improving to 16-3 overall and 8-1 in the G-MAC, while the Storm fell to 9-14 (2-8 G-MAC).
- #14 Oilers Battle Back to 27-20 Win vs. Upset-Minded PanthersFindlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay football team, ranked no. 14 in the country, faced arguably its toughest test since the first week of the season on Saturday, Oct. 25, taking on the Ohio Dominican Panthers in Donnell Stadium. The Oilers faced some adversity early but battled back to earn a 27-20 victory over their long-time rival, improving to 8-0 overall and 6-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) in the process. With the loss the Panthers fall to 3-4 on the year with a 2-4 mark in the league.
