- Oiler Choice Awards Set for Tuesday, April 16Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay is thrilled to announce the launch of the inaugural Oiler Choice Awards, designed to celebrate the athletic year by recognizing seniors, as well as presenting multiple individual and team awards. Established in 2024, the Oiler Choice Awards are designed to recognize the outstanding achievements of student-athletes in front of their peers.
- Men's Golf in a Tie for Fourth After Day 1 of Intercollegiate at NemacolinFarmington, PA. - The University of Findlay men's golf team returned to action on Monday, Oct. 20 for the first day of play in the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin hosted by Findlay. A planned 36 hole day was cut short due to darkness as the Oilers were only able to get in 30-32 holes before play was suspended. After 30 holes of action on day one, the Oilers find themselves tied for fourth place. A 303 (+15) in round one and a (+10) through 14 holes in round two places them at 25 over par.
- Women's Golf in Fifth After Day One at the Intercollegiate at NemacolinFarmington, Pa. – The University of Findlay women's golf team opened play as the host school at the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin, held at the scenic Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. The 54-hole event, played Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 20-21, is taking place on the Mystic Rock Golf Course, set at 6,100 yards for the women's field.
- Foerster Named G-MAC Athlete of the WeekIndianapolis, Ind.- Senior Lauren Foerster was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Monday, Oct. 20. Foerster led the Oilers to a 2-1 weekend at the Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover with wins over Northern Michigan and Indianapolis.
- Football Ranked 14th in Week 8 AFCA National PollWaco, Texas- It took a half to get things rolling, but ultimately the Oilers did what they needed to do on Saturday, earning a dominating 28-0 victory over the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers in Donnell Stadium. The win keeps the Oilers unbeaten at 7-0 (5-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC)). For that effort, Findlay has now moved to no. 14 in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches Poll — the highest ranking in program history. The previous best was no. 16, achieved last week.
- Kovacevic / Ouellet Take on Nation's Best at ITA Cup in GeorgiaRome, Georgia – The University of Findlay women's tennis team had a pair of players earn a spot in the 2025 ITA Cup which was held in Rome, Georgia this weekend. The tournament is an invite-only tournament and one of the most prestigious championships on the tennis calendar. The Oilers doubles team of Anamarija Kovacevic and Audrey Ouellet secured their spot by winning the ITA Midwest Regional Doubles tournament two weeks ago. This is the second consecutive year that Kovacevic has attended the event after earning a trip in singles last season.
- Oilers Open Up Season with Home Exhibition vs Toledo | Fall 123-103Findlay, Ohio – As has become some what of a preseason tradition in Northwest Ohio, the University of Findlay men's basketball team played host to the University of Toledo Rockets in an exhibition game on Sunday, Oct. 19 in Croy Gymnasium. The Oilers, which are coming off of a season in which they won the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) regular season title, outscored Toledo in the second half but came up short, dropping Sunday's friendly by a score of 123-103.
- Volleyball Falls in Five to Rockhurst | Concludes Midwest Region CrossoverHammond, Ind.- The University of Findlay volleyball team concluded the 2025 Midwest Region Crossover on Saturday, Oct. 19 with a 3-2 (25-21, 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 17-15) loss at the hands of the Rockhurst Hawks. With the loss, Findlay falls to 14-3 on the season while Rockhurst, members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), improve to 14-6.
- #16 Oilers Shutout Panthers | Improve to 7-0Findlay, Ohio – It took a half to get things rolling, but on Saturday, Oct. 18, the University of Findlay football team, ranked No. 16 in the country, did what it was supposed to do, earning a dominating 28-0 victory over the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers in Donnell Stadium. The win keeps the Oilers unbeaten at 7-0 (5-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC)) while KWC remains in search of its' first victory, heading back to Owensboro, Ky. with an 0-7 (0-5 G-MAC) record. Findlay improves its' record to 9-0 against the Panthers, all-time.
- Men's Soccer Battles to 2-2 Draw with Thomas MoreFindlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay men's soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw against Thomas More on Saturday, October 18 at DeHaven Field. The result moves the Oilers to 6-4-2 overall and 5-2-2 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) action. The Saints move to 7-4-2 overall and 5-2-2 G-MAC play.
