Established in 2024, the Oiler Choice Awards are designed to recognize the outstanding achievements of student-athletes in front of their peers.
- Cross Country Competes at OWU InvitationalPowell, Ohio- The University of Findlay cross country teams took part in the OWU Invitational, hosted by Division III Ohio Wesleyan University on Friday, Oct. 3. The men's team placed seventh, while only four women competed, which was not enough for a team scoring finish.
- #21 Volleyball Wins Eighth Straight | Sweep TiffinTiffin, Ohio- Just like they did two weeks ago, the University of Findlay volleyball team swept the Tiffin Dragons, this time on Friday, Oct. 3 inside of The Gillmor Center on the campus of Tiffin University. The Oilers, ranked no. 21 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) National Poll, earned a dominant 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-21) victory to improve to 10-1 on the year and a perfect 4-0 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play. Meanwhile, the Dragons fall to 2-8 on the year with an 0-4 mark in league play.

- Oilers Shut Out Walsh 2-0 at HomeFindlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay women's soccer team earned a 2-0 shutout victory over the Walsh Cavaliers on Thursday, October 2, at DeHaven Field. The win moves the Oilers to 4-2-3 on the season and 3-1-1 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play. Walsh moves to 3-2-3 overall, and 2-1-2 in G-MAC play.
- Men's Soccer Breezes by Walsh | Win 2-0Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay men's soccer team was back in action on Thursday, Oct. 2 for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matchup with Walsh University. Benefiting from a hot start offensively, the Oilers would cruise to a 2-0 victory. With the win, Findlay moves to 4-3-1 overall and 3-1-1 in conference play. For the Cavaliers, they see their record drop to 2-6-1 overall and 1-3-1 in conference.
- Oilers Finish Fifth at Fall Midwest CollegiatePeru, Ind. – The University of Findlay men's golf team wrapped up the Midwest Collegiate hosted at Rock Hollow Golf Club on Tuesday, Sept. 25. Findlay earned a 5Th place finish, shooting a +24 total for the event. Great Midwest Athletic Conference foe, Tiffin University, captured the team title with rounds of +2, E, and +9 to post a winning score of +11.
- Oilers in Fourth After Day One of Midwest CollegiatePeru, Ind. - The University of Findlay men's golf team was back in action on Monday, Sep. 29 for the first day of play in the Fall Midwest Collegiate. After 36 holes of action on day one, the Oilers find themselves in fourth place. A 297 (+9) in round one and a 296 (+8) in round two led to a 17 over finish.
- Oilers Take Second at Gildas Club Laker Fall Invite, Duflo Claims Medalist HonorsAllendale, Mich. – The University of Findlay women's golf team competed in the one-day, 36-hole 17th Annual Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invitational on Monday, September 29 at The Meadows at Grand Valley State University. The field featured some of the region's top teams, including the recently nationally ranked No. 1 Oilers and No. 7 Grand Valley State.
